The concept of WoW!Glider:
WoW!Glider is a program that in action is much like 'ACTOOL'. In ACtool you would set where your mouse would click or keys used, this made it very hard for a GM/CSR to detect you.
WoW!Sharp input
code between your comp and the servers. By doing this, once blizzard
found out they were immediatley stopped. WoW!Sharp and programs like
it glow like a beacon to Blizzard.
WoW!Glider also uses this
same keystroke method. This points out the fact that this program is
currently 'Undectable'. While you can still get banned for
using it if your caught (Below will be some advice on how not to be
caught.) the chances of you being caught are very slim. If you leave
your computer AFK like I do (What's the point in a BOT if your still
going to stay at the computer?) be sure to do the following.
- 1:Turn on
'Shadow Enable', 'Shadow Process', and
'Invisible Mode'
- 2:Set the
'Auto Reply To GM' to a reply that ask's them to hold on
one moment. Such as 'One moment sir, I'm experiencing extreme
lag.'
- 3:Don't
Grind in populated areas
- 4:*NEVER*
Speak about Botting at all in Chat.
- 5:*NEVER* put a 'AFK'
tag on. If you must, use DnD
- 6:Don't bot
more than 4hours. GM's clock your gaming time, if you have been
playing a insane amount of hours, you will get flagged.
- 7:In your
movement options, check 'Strafe' and 'Jump'.
This will make you look more 'Realistic' to other players.
- 8:Try to bot when the servers are near
empty. Usually late at night.
Those are the top 8 methods I use. I have been a botter since last
july and haven't been caught. I even botted 24/7 for a week straight
in the winter.
In my opinion I rate WoW!glider 5/5. It's Easy
to use and very effective.
Notes:
Wow Glider's anti-detection features (shadow and process) are not Windows Vista ready. I tested this program on a 64 bit windows xp beta and the gliding program worked, the anti detection features did not.
A great way to prevent detection is to grind in instances. Of course, instances are tougher but if you are a 60 farmer looking for loot, then instances like SFK, SM, WC provide some great stuff for lower levels.
Wow Glider is not plug and play. Once you start the program you have to give it a path to run (called a profile) which will take some setup. However, once you find a nice path, your toon can run that path, killing and getting exp, rather than running round hunting for quests. But you ask, what about the profiles available? If you use a profile created by another person, you run the risk of a GM knowing about the profile and upping your change of detection.
If you glide, you need some programs like loot filter (check curse gaming) to prevent your bags from filling up with junk.
