Scarlet Monk
Unarmed crazy dudes. They have a pretty high damage yield but low armor so take em down fast.
Scarlet
Scarlet Gallant
Armed with a shield and mace, these guys can be annoying to kill due to high defense. They are the instance's "common" mob. Kill as you normally would by focusing all melee and spells 1 at a time.
Scarlet Diviner
Spellcasters of the library, wear cloth and are easy to down IF they are controlled. Do not let them keep casting from afar.
Scarlet Adept
Eh same thing, mace guy except no shield and heals. Annoying.
Scarlet Beastmaster
These guys carry a pet with them all the time, so be careful when adds stack up
Scarlet Chaplain
Stronger healer
The library follows almost a maze-like pattern of interconnected rooms. Each room contains about 9 basic mobs with a pat or so. The first courtyard contains:
Houndmaster
A 34 humanoid elite guarded by 4 scarlet Tracking hounds around level 33. This battle is considered one of the hardest in SM due to the 5-mob attack problem. The trick is crowd control. You MUST MUST MUST have crowd control to win or a strong-ass tank. My strategy is through CC. You must do any or all of these:
-Mage poly's one
-Rogue saps
-Druid Snares
-Hunter traps
to stop the hounds and focus all forces on the houndmaster. He drops some leather gloves and a sweet-ass trinket, a whistle that summons a dog to fight for you
Once you enter the gallery of treasures, the game really begins. The gallery is a pathway in an upside-down U shape that contains several hallways littered with mobs
When the hallways start turning south, lookin for the book on the bookshelf for the quest (If you have the quest, you'll know what im talking about)
The second and final boss of the library is:
Arcanist Doan
This guy can be a challenge if you don't know how to control him. His attacks are PURE spells, so if there's a mage in the ground make sure they're told to drop groundin totems. The arcanist's most powerful spell is a strong AoE nova. When he starts to cast for it, BACK YOUR BUTT OFF until its cast. He drops 2 infamous items, a robe and a staff, both very very appealing to priests and mages and warlocks.
