1. Intro:
The Searing Gorge is home to a group of exceptionally stout dwarves who have split from the Dark Iron Clan. On the cliffs overlooking the region called the Cauldron, in the far north of the Searing Gorge, the dwarves of the Thorium Brotherhood have established a base of operations, Thorium Point. From here, they keep a close eye on the Dark Iron dwarves' activities in the Searing Gorge and beyond. Adventurers seeking out Thorium Point will find that the dwarves of the Thorium Brotherhood hold great rewards for those who aid them in their neverending struggle against their former brethren.
The Thorium Brotherhood comprises many exceptionally talented craftsmen, and the blacksmiths of the Brotherhood are rumored to be among the finest Azeroth has ever seen. They possess the knowledge required to make the arms and armaments of Ragnaros, the Fire Lord, but lack the manpower to obtain the materials required for the crafting. It is rumored that one member of the Thorium Brotherhood has been empowered to trade the dwarves' fabled recipes and plans with those who can prove their loyalty to the Brotherhood. Of course, proving one's loyalty at some point may include venturing to the heart of the Molten Core, the domain of Ragnaros, the Fire Lord himself, to supply the dwarves with the rare raw materials found there. A daunting task, no doubt, but gaining access to the Thorium Brotherhood's secrets should prove to be a reward well worth the effort.
2. Facts n persons.
The Thorium Brotherhood are an elite group of craftsmen who can reveal a number of epic recipes if you gain enough faction reputation with them. They are former Dark Iron Dwarves who have left Blackrock Depths to explore (exploit) the world. All players start off at Neutral (0) reputation with them.
The Thorium Brotherhood sets foot in Searing Gorge, in the camp of Thorium Point.
In Gadgetzan. The TB got a npc standing, which gives Blacksmiths the quests for the Imperial plate armour set.
The npc called Lokhtos Darkbargainer is located in the Grim Gizzler located in Blackrock Depths. He is the vendor for the faction reputation required recipies.
The last ncp not located in Thorium Point or Searing Gorge, is Malyfous Darkhammer who is located in Everlook in Winterfall.
3. Gaining faction reputation.
There are a few ways to gain faction with the Thorium Brotherhood (TB).
You can either quest, or simply hand in items.
Neutral to Friendly: 3,000 points
Friendly to Honored: 6,000 points
Honored to Revered: 12,000 points
Revered to Exalted: 21,000 points

Thorium Point Quests.
Theese quests give 100rep each, and a total of 700. This is, if your not level 60, at level 60 they give 10 rep each, and a total of 70.
Thorium Brotherhood quests.
Restoring Fiery Flux Supplies: (Neutral to Friendly, lvl req: 46)
This quests requires you to gather:
2 Incendosaur Scales
4 Kingsblood OR 4 Iron Bar OR 10 Heavy Leather
1 Coal
This quest gives 25 rep, each time you do it, until friendly! Whereas you cant gain rep from it any more.
Gaining Acceptance: (Friendly to Honored, lvl req: 46)
What you will do is farm: Dark Iron Residue. This is dropped randomly in BRM/BRD etc. This can also be mined at a Dark Iron mine.
4 Dark Iron Residue
This quest gives 25 rep, each time you do it, until honoured! Whereas you can gain any rep from this quest any more.
Derotain Mudsipper Turn-Ins: -total rep gain: 1150. Req: Blacksmith.
This requires you to turn in 250 thorium bars.
Lokhtos Darkbargainer: (lvl req: 60)
What you can turn in is:
10 Dark Iron Ore ( 50 rep each time )
2 Core Leather ( 100 rep each time )
1 Lava Core ( 200 rep each time )
1 Fiery Core ( 200 rep each time )
1 Blood of the Mountain ( 200 rep each time)
