OK here are the steps in order (first is with normal hunter, second is for NE)

Ok there are two different options for the opening 1a. if you get the jump and 1b. if they get the jump.
1a. Open with aimed shot FIRST. Many people make the terrible mistake of marking first, which gives the enemy a chance to react faster. Hitting with this first is critical if they dont see you before you start AS.

1b. (Have to be either corporal or BM hunter for this). Either sick pet on him and use intimidation (3 sec stun) and get range or use the corporals trinket. Either work and are very effective. MAKE SURE you get a wing clip off before you just start to run away (mainly for melee classes).

2. Concussive shot to either stun or at least slow them down.

3. Serpent Sting for melee or Viper if they have a mana pool.
Note: By this time they will probably be charging at you with everything they've got. This is were i suggest you start to kite them (unless its a caster class besides shaman)

4. KEEP concussive shot up every single time you get a chance to shoot it. If you do actually stun them, go to 4b.

4b.Hit rapid fire and unload on them, usually you will have time for an AS.

5. enjoy the victory :)

NE HUNTER

There are many different strats you can use with a NE hunter. The main one I use is to let my pet kill them untill they find me, then proceed with the normal strategy above.

1. If they start to get close use intimidation
AND bestial wrath.

2. Hit shadowmeld before you engage in battle or they mark you.

3a. If they find you before they die, start with the above strat.
3b. When they get close to death unload on them with an AS and concussive shot.

4. Oh so sweet victory.

NOTE: I STRONGLY suggest using a pet with huge amounts of armor+stamina. These types of pets would include Bears, Turtles, and some other random world beasts.
