A bit of server lag will let you set your hearthstone right before you port, but still go to your old location. Talk to an innkeeper to set your hearthstone to a new location, but don't confirm it. Use your hearthstone to return to the old spot. Then, right before you teleport, accept the innkeeper. If done right you'll have your hearthstone set to where you teleported from even though you teleported! Even if you don't have enough to do before you'd want to go back a bit of time spent grinding beats waiting on transport.

Remember that you can repeat the trick when you hearth back to your original location. If you use it right you can basically keep two places hearthed at once.
