One of the more important decisions you have to make, is which of the new factions to go with; Aldor or Scryers.

Scryer is more focused on PVP with loads of stam and some +dam, while Aldor are more focused on PVE with both dam and +heal, INT and MP5 items.

This is how the two factions relate to classes and specs:

Aldor:

Hunters
Sword Rogues
Tanks
Magic damage dealers
Players seeking PvE shoulder enchants
Crafters wishing to make Fire Resistance armor
Jewelcrafters wishing to make Shadow Resistance armor

Scryer:

Feral Druids
Dagger Rogues
Healers
Damage dealing Warriors and Paladins
Players seeking PvP shoulder enchants
Crafters wishing to make Arcane Resistance armor
Jewelcrafters wishing to make Nature Resistance armor
Alchemists, especially ones that deal fire damage
